Science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) education is a common thread that connects all four mothers. Education is a common mantra of all four mothers and their parents. Being charitable and humanistic in their thought processes is a common trait shared by all four moms. Hence, this is the reason why they have come together to share their thoughts and personal experiences in order to inspire, as well as encourage, others around the world who are somewhat like the four authors. The authors believe that their stories can inspire and encourage those reading this book by making them share a laugh or two, and making them see that we share more in common, no matter where in the world we reside. The girl-child maturing into womanhood globally shares a common background and a common dream. So, it helps to share information that would assist others in their life’s journey to see that they may not be so different from other girl-children raised in Africa and other parts of the world. These four moms hope and pray that many young girls who are wondering what the future holds for them can learn from the experiences of these girl-children themselves, in addition to their dreams of achieving greater heights as a female child in a world ruled primarily by the male child whose idea is that they are born to rule the world they reside in. Thus, readers, as you read our stories, we pray that you will see yourself in our stories and you will be happy to take something out of our stories to use in your own personal journey, as well as share our experiences and your experiences with your children—both female and male.
